Meet Our Team

The KICKO staff are passionate people dedicated to reaching the children and their families in our urban communities.

Bill & Janice Clark

Co-Founders, Executive Director &
Sonday School Director

Bill & Janice Clark founded KICKO in 1995 as a 501(c)3 non-profit ministry with a singular purpose-to mobilize a message of hope found only in Jesus Christ (the Gospel) to the children living in Knoxville's low income areas.

Michael Clark

Public Relations & Youth Coordinator

Michael, Bill and Janice's son, has been volunteering with KICKO since its inception. In early 2011, Michael and Candi felt it was time to join KICKO full-time, coming on board as Public Relations & Youth Coordinator, working with the Junior Staff.

Joel Lay

Blount Co. Team Leader

Joel began serving as a volunteer with KICKO in 2006, and answered the call to be site leader for Blount County in 2010. Joel and his wife Sarah have served in various areas of Children’s ministry for over 11 years. Joel’s desire is to see children come to know Christ.

Carolyn Fuentes

Sonday School Team Leader

Carolyn began volunteering with KICKO in 2013, and quickly fell in love with Children's ministry as missions. She loves working with children and seeing God work in their lives; she even involves her own 4 children. It doesn't hurt that she is bilingual!
